Jay Buchanan has been awarded the Davidson Family Fellowship for work at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. He will spend two months in residence in Fort Worth in Summer 2027, working with the Museum's holdings for my dissertation, "Awash: Sensation, Infiltration, and the Bather in Queer and Trans* Art," as well as other, shorter projects engaging American art, gender, sexuality, and infrastructural history.
