In July 2026, Professor Nicola Aravecchia recently presented (with Dr. Stefania Alfarano, Institute for the Study of the Ancient World, New York University)  the paper "Living Among the Dead: Burials and Sacred Space at Amheida (Dakhla Oasis) at the 13th International Congress of Coptic Studies in Göttingen, Germany.
